Exercise Programs
|
- Back Exercise and Self Management
- We offer instruction in precise coordination of the spine and pelvis. You will learn strengthening and stretching exercises as well as proper body mechanics for daily living. You will be able to maintain your own safe therapeutic weight-training program at home or at the gym.
- Gym Training
- This supervised training program will prepare you for your own exercise routine with proper body mechanics. Our goal is to increase your strength, your endurance, and your motivation.
- Group Exercise
- This class is a cost effective method to learn and be monitored in an individualized exercise program over the course of four sessions.
- Aquatic Therapy
- This pool exercise program incorporates aerobic exercise with range
of motion, endurance, and strength training. Participants will benefit
from exercise in an environment that places minimal stress on the
musculoskeletal system.
- Ergonomics
- Our clinic can assess your work station set-up and work practices and offer suggestions regarding work situation modifications. If an on-site consultation is required, we can provide appropriate referrals.
- Orthotics
- We offer over the counter orthotics. Custom orthotics are cast in our clinic, sent to a lab for fabrication, and are ready in two to four weeks.
- Geriatrics
- We provide specialized treatment for arthritic pain, joint replacements, osteoporosis, balance issues, and postural problems. Our one on one sessions will prioritize individual concerns.
