Individualized Initial Evaluation
Your initial visit consists of a one hour in-depth evaluation performed by a highly trained physical therapist specializing in orthopedics. Your PT will gather detailed information to determine the source of your symptoms, offer advice on self-management and exercises, and provide hands on intervention, as needed. We use evidence-based research coupled with our many years of experience to direct your treatment and maximize its effectiveness.

One-on-One Follow Up Visits
You will continue to work with your assigned P.T. Depending on your clinical presentation and treatment needs, your visits may include manual therapy, neuromuscular re-education, therapeutic exercise, myofascial release, cupping, biomechanical taping, rigid taping, balance and fall prevention, postural and body mechanics training, post op rehabilitation and sports injury management.

Therapeutic Exercise/Sports Retraining

With your P.T., develop your own therapeutic training program at home or at the gym. Learn strengthening, stretching, balance, plyometrics, and proper mechanics for a safe return to sports and an active lifestyle.

Manual Therapy
Manual therapy consists of hands-on therapeutic procedures, including joint, soft tissue and neural mobilization, to increase mobility, decrease joint stiffness, and to relieve pain. There are many types of mobilization techniques including Maitland, Kaltenborn, McKenzie, Mulligan and many more.

Balance and Fall Prevention/Geriatrics

Your physical therapist is skilled in assessing and providing treatment for arthritic pain, joint replacements, osteoporosis, balance issues, fall prevention and postural problems. Your one on one sessions prioritize your individual concerns to develop an appropriate program.

We offer an assessment of your work station and work habits and offer suggestions regarding work situation modifications. If an on-site consultation is required, we can provide appropriate referrals.

Semi customized over the counter orthotics recommendations are available, based on a thorough biomechanical assessment. Our clinic vends Vasyli orthotics and accessories. Custom orthotics can be cast in our clinic, sent to a lab for fabrication, and are ready in two to four weeks.

Personalized Pilates/ Yoga Rehabilitation Training

Develop a personalized Pilates routine on the Reformer and/or mat with the guidance of your P.T. Incorporate yoga’s holistic, total body approach to traditional physical therapy rehabilitation using yoga poses, props and breathing to address musculoskeletal disorders while also accessing the parasympathetic nervous system.
